Fabian and I were best friends freshman year and I never knew he had cancer at that time. He never told me because I didn’t suspect he had cancer, I thought he just would miss school to miss it and I always told him if he needed help in any classes. Our 6th period class was the only class we had with each other and we made the best of it. Always getting in trouble by the teacher for laughing to much or for goofing around, but I didn’t care because that was my bestest friend at that school. We would always play Xbox too, I would always wait for him to get on so we could play some games. When we had to quarantine I didn’t text him for some while, but then sophomore year I started to text him more but he never responded. One day I texted him and he told me everything that had happened. I was literally mind blown but that didn’t change that he was my best friend. Once I knew that he was fighting cancer I told him we gon beat cancer up like some guy talking crap to us. I told em we gon see each other again soon. Then he stopped texting me but I still texted everyday trying to get in contact with him. I just want to let u guys know that Fabian was one kid I could always trust and always talk too. I love him as my own friend, always have. 

Fabian was one of the funniest people I had the pleasure of growing up in middle school with. In the fifth or sixth grade, I would always stay after school and wait for the NBGC kids to go out for their recess time so I could play kickball with Fabian and a couple of other friends. I usually hated kickball, but Fabian made it so fun with his jokes and general sense of humor that I always came back the next day to play some more. There was never a dull moment with him around. He will be greatly missed. 

Fabian was a brave and hard working freshman in my biology class last year.  He has many friends who cared about him.  Sending our deepest sympathies from Amundsen High School.

I wasn’t in that many classes with Fabian, but I always remembered how he could always make the whole class laugh. He always had a smile on his face and put smile on others faces.

I do not know your son but some FB notes from friends drew me to his obituary and messages. It is evident by all the warm and loving messages left, Fabian will be a memory that will stay with friends and acquaintances for the rest of their days. Even as years pass and class reunions are held. Fabian's memory will be in their hearts and his name will pass their lips.  Feel ever so proud to have been able to call him your son.  

Deepest condolences and heartfelt sorrow from our entire Bombé family to all your family and Fabian’s loved ones at this tragic time!! Our sons, Antonio and Paulo loved their Coonley after school and Summer times hanging out, year after year, with their fun-loving  buddy Fabian and we always enjoyed greeting your family during pick-up time.

Several years ago our boys began bonding with Fabian over Minecraft and together building their virtual worlds of adventure with amazing teamwork and lots of fun mischief, teaming up to take on the world ….During the start of the pandemic and throughout 2020 Fabian was the “go-to gaming friend “ to help survive, when all our kids’ plunged  into “remote living” and learning the lessons of how to cope with  lockdown and still socialize fiercely through their very late night gaming adventures and empowering successful escapes (of at least 10 different interactive gaming games).

Perseverance is the characteristic that Fabian personified and shared that spirit generously with everyone who was in his worlds: both the virtual creations and the real life ones he soulfully filled and endured.

He is already missed and we felt his spirit pass through on Wednesday when we were wondering and praying about how his battle was going…our prayers continue.

I am truly sorry for your loss. I remember Fabian was a very charismatic boy and always had a smile on his face. My condolences to you and your family; he will be greatly missed.  

Never a dull day when Fabian and Chase came up with BS excuses (about their chromebooks) in order to miss some school time  to come to my office and discuss technology and computers.

You guys made my days enjoyable.

Fabian was just the best guy. He was funny, kind, and was loved by everyone. He had the ability to change the mood of everything with a hilarious joke to a ridiculous voice. Fabian will be missed by everyone who crossed paths with him because no matter how close you were he impacted everyone in some way. He has certainly given so much to me and helped make School so enjoyable. Can think back to the numerous times I was crying about something stupid and it took Fabian saying one thing to just make me start cracking up.

I don't have a single bad memory of Fabian. Every moment I spent with him was amazing. He was the kindest and funniest person I've ever met. Fabian was one of my closest friends and I won't be the same without him.

We will never forget how much fun Fabian had at our wedding throwing the frisbee to Mobley. The dog couldn't walk for 2 days afterwards, but man was he happy to have someone to love on him so much.

I had the privilege to have seen this boy from the time that he was born. His frequent visits to St. Martha would brighten my rather very busy  day.
From feeding the birds in the parking lot, to playing beyblades on the floor. It was always fun for me and him. 
I will never forget that every single time he was at work, I would always checked to see how tall he had grown. He would readily comply with a smile in his face. 
Thank you for giving your hamsters (Boba and Jarjar) to us. You are reunited with them now in heaven.
