McNamara, Eileen (nee Lane) Native of Co. Limerick, Ireland. Beloved wife and best friend for 47 years of the late Michael F. McNamara. Loving and devoted mother of John (Colette) McNamara, Elaine (Ray) Canchola, Mary (Steve) Mallon, Michael (Donna) McNamara and Joanne (Ken) Rahn. Cherished grandmother of Laura (Sam), Michelle, Angela, Katherine, Maura (Paul), Danielle, Margaret (fiancé Kyle), Bridget, Aileen, Brian, Michael, Jacob, Nathan, Matthew and the late baby Sean. Cherished great-grandmother of Genevieve. Oldest and dear sister of eight - the late Paddy (Kay) Lane, the late Maureen (the late John) Canty, Joan (the late James) Scannell, Jack (Bridgid) Lane, the late James (the late Vera) Lane, the late Daniel (the late Mary) Lane, Timothy (the late Philomena) Lane, Ita (Sean) Walsh. Kind aunt and friend to many, fond daughter of the late Timothy and Ellen (nee Fitzgerald) Lane.

Friends and family will gather for a visitation for Eileen that will take place on Saturday, November 18th, 2023 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at St. Christina Catholic Church, 3342 West 111th Street, Chicago, Illinois, with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:30 a.m. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Andrew J. McGann & Son Funeral Home entrusted with arrangements.
