         I found your father on obits when I was browsing  today !  I was looking for him for long time untill now . Your father was my favorite  "Uncle " My name is Lana (Wallin) Mikals .Maybe you had heard about me who is hearing impaired  (Im 70 years old now )your father was very good to  me and spoiled me for buying ice cream and candy  . Clifford  Larson was your father's good friend .I think he was best man for your father at wedding.  Not sure. Clifford  was my uncle.  Your father n Clifford  n my dad n others friends n me went to Cubs few times .  Hope to touch with you  about him  Here s picture of me n ur father. My name is Frank Beller.  I saw my picture with Art in your photos, the two of us in our uniforms.  I was in the Marine Corp with Art in 1954-1955 in Korea.  My job sent me to Chicago for training in the early '60's and I spent two weeks there.  This was after Art had his heart attack.  I had dinner with him in his home and met his wife.  He also gave me a grand tour of Chicago.  He visited us in Tulsa, Oklahoma, along with his son, in 1971. We exchanged several Christmas cards from Art and his wife after that, but never saw him in person again.  We were very close friends and buddies together, and we want to offer our sympathy to Art's family.  My wife and I live in Rogers, Arkansas.  She is 79 years old and I am now 81, eight months older than Art.  We send our love to Art's family.  He was a good man.

So sorry for the loss of Mr. Becker. I was in the Marine Corps for 22 years, and I am a Chicago Police Officer. I know Mr. Becker form seeing him at St Lukes Church every Sunday morning. We would engage in some very fun conversations, a Marine, and a Cop, we were the same. Semper Fi Sir, you are at the Pearly Gates with our Supreme Commandant. Until we meet again. You WILL be missed.

So many memories of Mr. Becker - I know him and Mrs. Becker will be so happy to be together after all these years. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
