William John Hering

William J. Hering, age 78, passed away on March 17th, 2021. He was a twenty year resident of Newbury Township and was an electrical and mechanical engineer. Bill enjoyed fixing golf carts and lawn mowers, gardening and landscaping. He is survived by his wife Carol; children Gary (Roza) and Jan (Anthony) Carriero; and grandchildren Stewart, Grace, Steven, Valentino and Via. Friends may call at GATTOZZI AND SON FUNERAL HOME, 12524 Chillicothe Rd. (Route 306 N. of Mayfield Rd.) Chesterland, from 4-7pm on Monday March 22nd, 2021. Mass of Christian Burial (live stream available at sthelen.com) will be on Tuesday March 23rd, 2021 11am at St. Helen Catholic Church, 12060 Kinsman Road, Newbury, with Visitation prior to Mass from 10am-11am. Interment All Saints Cemetery, Northfield OH.
