Brian S. Beck

Brian S. Beck, age 63, passed away on September 16, 2016 in Chester Twp. He was born on September 25, 1952 in Lakewood. Brian was a native of Rocky River and was currently residing in Chester Twp. He was a 1971 graduate of Rocky River High and a 1975 graduate of Miami University. Brian was active in many organizations throughout his life. With his love of all music, he was currently a member of Lakeland Civic Band and The Workman Circle Klezmer Orchestra. He was also active with the Cleveland Sight Center sailing program where he volunteered teaching sailing. He was an active member of E.S.U.U. Church in Kirtland. His wit, kindness and depth of knowledge on many subjects will be missed by all who knew him. Devoted and loving father of Benjamin (Kelly) Beck of Albuquerque, New Mexico; brother of Warren (JoAnn) of Olmsted Falls, Ohio and the late Neil Beck; devoted uncle of Caitlin and Jennifer Beck; and dear friend of Amy Singer. A Celebration of Brian's life will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, October 29, 2016 at E.S.U.U. Church, 10848 Chillicothe Rd., Kirtland. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Brian's memory may be made to The Cleveland Sight Center or the charity of your choice.
