She was the daughter of the late Judd and Elma Browning and was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde S. “J. L.” Walker, son, Mickey Ray Walker, granddaughter, Heather Nicole Caylor, six brothers and two sisters.
Wilma retired from the Whitfield County School system where she worked as a custodian and a bus driver.
She loved her family and enjoyed traveling and camping.
Survivors include her two sons, Dennis (Iva) Walker, of Harrison, TN, Gary Walker, of Tunnel Hill, GA, two daughters, Sheila (Donald) Caylor, of Harrison, TN, Teresa (Herman) Williams, of Dalton, GA, daughter-in-law, Patricia (Kim) Smith, of Ooltewah, TN, four grandsons, Keith, David (Christine), Brandon Walker, and Clint Walker Williams, five granddaughters, Tara Caylor, Michelle Walker (Randall) Burnam, Tracy (Lupe) Esquibel, Leslie (Pedro) Cadesa and Ashley Walker, brother, Tom (Bonnie) Browning, of Mobile, AL, and several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 12, 2021, in the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Pastor Jason Ollis officiating. Burial will follow in Lee Cemetery in McDonald, TN.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m., Thursday, February 11, 2021, at the funeral home.
Due to the current pandemic we respectfully ask that those attendance wear face masks, practice social distancing, and abide by all CDC guidelines.
