He proudly served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam era. William was self employed in Construction for over 20 years.
William was preceded in death by his mother, Frankie Shephard.
Those he leaves behind to cherish his memories are his son, William Walton; stepdaughter, Loradona Walton, both of Hephzibah, GA; grandchildren, Miles Walton of Jacksonville, FL and Kashman Walton of Augusta, GA; brother, Theodore Shephard; and friend Wilma Bell, both of Chattanooga, TN.
A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, October 27, 2022 at 12:30 pm in the Chattanooga National Cemetery, 1200 Bailey Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37404.
