Ruby Ables

She was born on January 14, 1930 in Tunnel Hill, GA. Ruby was a born again Christian and a member of the Philadelphia Baptist Church in Ringgold, GA. Ruby worked for Eckerd Drugs for over 15 years. She loved to sing and dance. Ruby loved and adored her family and grandchildren.

Ruby was preceded in death by her husbands, Felt Standifer Ables and William “ Bill” Bryant; son John Bryant; granddaughter Heather Ann Gilbreath; parents Bertha Jane Gallaher and John Alexander White.

Ruby is survived by her daughter Vicki Lynn Bryant; granddaughters Brittany Bryant and Nichole Hudson; grandsons Christopher Bryant and Brian Hinton; great granddaughters Maddie, Karlie and Skyler; great grandsons C.J. and Caiden; and sister Joyce Ann Landers.

The family will receive friends on Monday, June 7, 2021 from 4-7 pm at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services - Franklin-Strickland Chapel and on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 from 10 am until time of service.

Funeral service for Ruby will be conducted on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at 11:45 am at the Franklin-Strickland Chapel of Advantage Funeral Home with Brother Roger Carnes officiating.

Interment to follow in Chattanooga National Cemetery . Pallbearers will be Mike Landers, Matt Esser, LeRoy Stockland , Donnie Jones, Brittany Bryant and Nichole Hudson.
