Born in Panama City, FL on November 15,1964. He grew up and remained a lifelong resident in Dayton, TN with his brother Patrick Jordan. He was a graduate of Rhea County High School, class of 1983. Bobby was an avid Licensed Ham Radio Operator for 33 years and was a member of the Rhea County Amateur Radio Club where he recently served as President, Repeater Trustee and Volunteer Examiner. He was also a member of First Baptist Church of Dayton.
Bobby was an over the road truck driver for over 20 years. He had a love for driving and a warm smile for everyone he met. Upon his recent retirement, he was driving for West Trucking. After retirement, he was able to enjoy his hobbies of talking and working on ham radios, sitting on his porch swing, and riding horses. Bobby was loved by his many friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents Ed and Carol Jordan of Dayton, TN. Survivors include his brother Patrick (Lynette) Jordan of Chattanooga, TN; several aunts; cousins; and a nephew.
A Celebration of Life service to be held in Dayton, TN, will be announced at a later date.
