Jeanne Wilson

She was born in Whiteside, Tennessee, daughter of Joseph M. Kennedy and mother Cartha Kennedy Suggs.

Jean worked many years in the food services of HCDE. She was a charter member of Eastwood Baptist Church in the Ooltewah community serving as director of the Wednesday night suppers.

She was preceded in death by her husband Noah A. Wilson, her parents Joseph M. Kennedy and Cartha Kennedy Suggs, two sisters Velma Cox and Audrey Kelley, one brother Joseph Kennedy Jr.

She is survived by her brother Nicholas (Wanda) Kennedy, several nieces and nephews, numerous great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday in the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Rev. F. Ray Walker officiating. Interment will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home.
