Jacqueline Posley

Jacqueline Garrett Posley aged 59, of Chattanooga, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, July 24, 2019. She was born in Chattanooga, to Glenese Franklin and Tommie Garrett on December 31, 1959. Jackie was the 3rd of 11 children. She attended Riverside High School

Jacqueline was preceded in death by her mother, Glenese Franklin; father, Tommie Garrett; brothers, Otha Lee Garrett and Tommie Garrett Jr.; sisters, Erma Faye Franklin Heard and Linda Ruth Garrett; grandmother, Odessa Talley; grandfather, Otha Franklin; and uncle Jerome ‘ Sonny’ Talley.

Those she leaves to mourn her passing includes her husband, Stanley Posley; daughter, Glenda Garrett; son, Charles Jones Jr., “street son” Larone; brothers, John Franklin of AL., Donnell Garrett, Edward (Liz) Garrett; sisters, Centrilla (Doll) Garrett, Annette Garrett, Tina (Clarence) Royal, Jackie Green, Cynthia (Finnie) Garrett and Barbara Jennings.

Jackie also left 6 beautiful and smart grandchildren and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, in-laws, extended family and good friends.

Jackie will lie-in-state on Thursday, August 1, 2019 from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon in the Chapel of Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services.

A Memorial Service will follow from 12:00 noon to 1:00 pm, with Pastor Robert Chaney Officiating. The Repass will immediately follow in the at Advantage Funeral Home Banquet Room.

The family has requested to please forward all Flowers & Food Donations to the Funeral Home on the day of the service.
