Henry was employed with the City of Chattanooga for 32 years.

He was preceded in death by his son, Carnell McClendon; and daughter, Tanikka Ballard;Sisters, Emma Jean Ballard, Cathy Thomas,Pearlie Mae Ballard and Christine Dobbins; stepchildren, Angela McClendon and David McClendon.

Those Henry leaves behind to cherish his memories are wife, Julie Ann Pless; his daughters, Talisha Bloodsaw, Denise Ballard, Caprisha Ballard and Kisha Ballard Williams; sons, Henry McClendon and James McClendon; brother, Willie James Ballard; son-in-law, Wayne Bloodsaw; sister-in-law, Keah McClendon; grandsons, Malik Bloodsaw and Timothy McClendon; stepchild, Tracie McClendon; a host of other grandchildren, great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

A Visitation for Henry will be held on Friday, December 13, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services - Franklin Strickland Chapel, 1724 McCallie Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37404.

Funeral Services will immediately follow at 1:00 PM.

The Committal Service will follow at Chattanooga Memorial Park Cemetery, Chattanooga, TN.
