Helen L. Dorn, 90, of Chattanooga, TN, passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2011. A native of Syracuse, NY, after her retirement, her and her husband moved to Bradenton, FL for 17 years, before coming to Chattanooga. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and was the wife for 67 years of the late Robert W. Dorn. Survivors include her son, Robert Dorn, Buffalo, NY; two daughters, Diane Nelson, Ooltewah, TN and Carol Nelson, Oxford, PA; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Skaneateles, NY. The family request memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Chattanooga, 4411 Oakwood Drive, Chattanooga, TN 37416. Arrangements are by the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 7414 Old Lee Highway.
