Gentry Paul, 73, of Ringgold, GA, passed away Friday, January 18, 2013. A lifelong resident of Dallas, Texas, he has been a resident of Ringgold for the past eleven years. He was the son of the late Milton Alvie and Eleanor Howard Paul and was owner and operator of Access Control & Service Company in Dallas, TX. He was a member of Grace Episcopal Church; NORWEGA Camping Club; Outdoor Adventures and Over Mountain SAMS. Survivors include his wife, Gayle Paul; step-daughter, Vickie Vance, Leiper’s Fork, TN; step-son, Michael (Michelle) Vance, Marietta, GA; four grandchildren, Reese Serene Fowler, Kyndra Hope Fowler, Zachary Michael Vance and Carter Edward Vance; two brothers, Milton Howard (Judy) Paul and Charles Buford (Lucy) Paul. A celebration of life service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Grace Episcopal Church with The Reverend Susan Butler, The Reverend Bradley Weeks, Deacon and Eric Broeren, M.Div. officiating. The family will receive friends at the church following the service. In lieu of flowers the family request memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society at Cancer.org or to your favorite charity. Arrangements are by the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 7414 Old Lee Highway.
