Erik David Patty

He has joined his cousins, Shelley and Emily Smith, in the hereafter, as well as paternal grandparents, DB and Pat Patty, and maternal grandmother, Nell Roy.

He leaves behind his beautiful daughter, Madison Horton as well as his mother, Wendy and stepfather, Chuck Cronon. Survivors also include his father, David (Charlene) Patty, siblings, Laura and Lance, Andy (Amy) Cronon, Katie (Jeremy) Ottinger and Mac (Kelly) Cronon, grandfather, Douglas (Penny) Roy, aunt, Pamela Kaye Smith, uncles, Jaimie (Lisa) Roy and Phillip (Linda) Roy, several cousins who adored him, best friend, Dustin Chauncey and special friend, Jennifer McCallie.

Erik will be remembered for his extensive music knowledge. He loved playing guitar anywhere and was employed as a Commercial Electrician. He had a fascination and knowledge of the stars and solar system. He was brilliant. Erik had friends from all walks of life and will be sorely missed by his family and friends.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 PM on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at the Chattanooga Funeral Home, Valley View Chapel, 7414 Old Lee Highway, Chattanooga, TN 37421.

A Memorial Service will follow at 7 PM at the funeral home with Rev. Sterling Jetton officiating.

Burial will be private.
