Emmett Brenton Manley was born June 23, 1941, in Madison, Alabama, to Emmette & Beulah Manley. He graduated with an accounting degree from Florence State (UNA), where he also met and married his wife, Judith English. Shortly after, Doug was born. The family moved to Chattanooga, TN, in 1967 for work, where David was born. Brent worked for the past 25 years at Consolidated Metal Services as sales manager, traveling throughout the entire east coast to visit customers, many he called friends. He enjoyed spending time with his family, playing golf and traveling. He had a lifelong passion for Alabama Crimson Tide football, watching and attending many games with both his sons. He passed away on Wednesday, August 15, 2018, after a short battle with cancer. He was preceded in death by his parents, Emmette & Buelah Manley and his wife, Judith Manley. He is survived by his sons Doug (Vicky) Manley and David (Rebekah) Manley; grandchildren Mackenzie & Micah Manley and Alina & Hannah Manley.
Family will receive friends Tuesday, August 21, 2018, from 5-7 pm at the Chattanooga First Seventh day Adventist Church, 7450 Standifer Gap Rd, Chattanooga, TN 37421.
A private family graveside service will be held at Forest Hills Cemetery.
