Ella Louise McClanahan, age 86, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 19. Born and raised in Cleveland, she had lived most of her adult life in Chattanooga. Louise will be remembered as a wonderful Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and friend.
She was preceded in death by her Parents, John and Nola “Mam” McClanahan; brothers Cecil, Spencer, Jim, Harry, Joe and Ralph McClanahan; Sisters Edith and Edna McClanahan.
Mrs. McClanahan is survived by her Daughter, Cynthia McClanahan Clowers; Granddaughters Beth (Aaron) Choate and Natalie (Tim) Allen; Great-Grandchildren, Hayden and Bailey Elizabeth Choate and Lili Kay Allen; a Sister-in-Law, Frances McClanahan and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 1 PM to 3 PM Saturday, February 26 at Valley View Chapel.
