Donnell Talley

In loving memory of Donnell Talley, Sr., son of the late Henry Mastin and Odesa Talley. He was also predeceased by his brothers, Jerome Talley and Joseph Mastin; sister, Glenese Franklin; and grandson,

DiAngelio (Dee Talley Jr).

He was born February 8, 1945, in Chattanooga, Tennessee. where he attended Hamilton County Public Schools. He was previously employed at the AT&T Cleaning Service.

Donnell was known for being well-dressed and for his pleasing personality. He was a friend to all who knew him, and he enjoyed putting a smile on the faces of those he loved.

Those left to cherish his memory are his sons, Donnell Talley, Jr. (Retired US Navy) of Chattanooga, TN., Warren Mack of Nyack, NY, DiAngelio Talley, Sr. (Retired US Air Force) of Cherry Hill, NJ, Reginald (Nia)

Edwards of Atlanta, GA, Gayland (Candace) Ross Retired (US Air Force), Dameon, Terrance, Andre and Ivan Ross all of Chattanooga, TN; daughters, Michelle Bolden of Tulsa OK, Donnetta Talley, Stacey (Geoff) Herman, Tracey (Kevin) Conley, and Candice (Stephon) North all of Chattanooga, TN; sisters, Alexandria (Ernest) Gustus, Cynthia Benn, Doretha Rose Talley and Ella Allgood all of Chattanooga, TN; brother, Jimmy (Betty) Rogers Mastin of Syracuse, NY. He also leaves behind 37 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A Visitation for Donnell will be held on Thursday, April 3, 2025 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services - Franklin Strickland Chapel, 1724 McCallie Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37404.

A Celebration of Life Service will immediately follow at 2:00 pm, with Minister Lydia Murphy officiating.
