My thoughts and prayers are with all family and friends. Deanna was an amazing lady. It was a true privilege to work with her at East Brainerd Elementary for so many years. She will be greatly missed. 🙏🙏💔

I remember Deanna so well from her time serving as the bookkeeper at East Brainerd Elementary where I taught. She was always so kind and helpful. She was also held in fondness by my dad who knew her as the bookkeeper at Chickamauga Elementary where he was the beloved custodian. Praying for her family that your grief will be eased by many happy memories.

This one of a kind Lady was a rock for me for almost 20 years.  My husband and I use to sit behind her in church and every Sunday she would tell me how much she love to hear him sing.  She was there for me when he passed and I always made a point to give her a hug on Sunday mornings.  My heart is sadden for such a loss and I will rejoice when I see her again. 

I met Deanna after moving back to to Chattanooga and joining Meadowview Baptist Church. What a kind, loving, caring spirit she had. What a wonderful example of a godly woman to all of us. I will miss her smiling face on Sundays. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to Barry and Lisa. Sincerely, Sue Coulter

We'll all miss Deanna.  I first met her when our almost 45 yo daughter started kindergarten @ Chickamauga Elem.  It was nice to feel an extra layer of protection for our child at school after we met.  Then we came to know her better some 16 years later when we moved and went to Meadowview Baptist together.  Fred and family, our utmost sympathy for your sudden loss and pain.

A lovely lady and lovely person. We didn't see her too often but each time Deanna was a delight to be around. No doubt she'll be missed by all who had the pleasure to know her.

I am so thankful for, and blessed by Mrs. Deanna and the Jones family! Mrs. Deanna was such an encouragement throughout Cindy’s illness. She had a way of quietly being Jesus’ hands and feet to whoever He placed in her life. 

I am praying Luke 1:78-79 on your behalf during this momentary time of separation: 
 “Because of the tender mercy of our God, 
by which the rising sun will come to us from heaven , to shine on those living in darkness and in the shadow of death, 
to guide our feet into the path of peace.”

Deanna and Fred have been our neighbors for some 20 years. We have always felt blessed to have such good neighbors.  My children have always thought of her as another Grandmother. They always said Miss Deanna makes the best lemonade. Her secret was more sugar. She knew all the names of the birds nesting in our yards. She had a blanket for one of our dogs in her garage. Everytime we left he would head to her house. One day when my children were little I said something about not being able to grow a certain plant. They both chimed in together ,"Give it to Miss Deanna she can grow anything. " We are still blessed to have Fred but will sorely miss ,Miss Deanna.

Dee Jones was one of the kindest people to work with at Lakeside Elementary in the 80s.  She served us as a part time bookkeeper and her work ethic and skill was very appreciated.  Always with a smile on her face her memory will always be in my heart.  

Deanna was my cousin-in-law. Her husband is my first cousin. In recent years several girl cousins got together for lunch and a time of chit chat. Deanna and Lisa joined in.  It was such a blessing to get to know them better.  Deanna was such a lady in every way.  Her passing was a shock to us. It is our loss but Heaven’s gain.  Prayers for the family. Deanna will always have a place in my heart.  You could not meet a kinder and more loving lady.   She was a cherished friend and a remarkable Sunday School teacher.  Deanna brought so many to the Lord through her daily demonstration of love and devotion.   
My thoughts and prayers are with her wonderful family.





 I have so much admiration and gratitude for the kindness and love Deanna gave to my family when we worshiped at MBC. I always looked forward to the ladies Joy Class which she taught and our Christmas  party with a covered dish meal. She made a delicious coconut pie.  I will always treasure her friendship.My deepest condolences to Fred, and all the family.

Oh no!  I swear I just saw her working out in her yard recently!  I am so sorry for your loss!

Deanna was a wonderful, Christian  lady.  She was the bookkeeper at Lakeside Elementary for many years and I could always depend on her to be accurate in her work.  She was very dependable and trustworthy.  Not only was she great in her job, but she was an excellent cook as well as a wonderful friend.   I know she is now in the arms of Jesus!

Deanna, we will miss you but thanks for a job well done!

She was an encourager for me through three serious surgeries in recent years.  She lifted me with her angel prayers!  She is much loved!
