David Lee Thomas

Mr. Thomas was born on January 17, 1962 in Chattanooga, TN to Harrison B. Thomas Jr (Jim) and Doris L. (Belvin) Thomas. He attended Central High class of 1981.

He was the Chattanooga branch manager of Lincare DME Company. He was blessed by Wonderful coworkers.

David’s hobbies were rebuilding, cleaning and driving Classic cars, hot rods and Harley Davidson motorcycles. David never had an automobile that he couldn’t bring back to show room condition. He was a member of Stroller’s Car Club and Good Guys Car Club.

He loved spending time with his Son and grandchildren and traveling with Donna was also a favorite pastime.

David is survived by his wife, Donna J. Thomas; son, Joshua Adam Thomas (Ginny); Grandchildren, James and Riley Thomas; his Brother, Jim Thomas; sisters, Kathy Busch (Joseph J. Busch, Jr MD), Sandra E. Ridge (James “Jimbo” A. Ridge) and Several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harrison B.Thomas Jr.(Jim), mother, Doris B. Thomas; sister, Patricia A. Thomas Cummings and his furry Son, Hot Rod.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:30 am on November 18, 2023, at the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church

In lieu of flowers donation to A Paw and Prayer Dog Rescue, Austin Hatcher Foundation for Pediatric Cancer and Basilica St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 214 E. 8th Street Chattanooga, Tn.
