He was the son of the late Charles Wesley Seymore, Sr. and Jimmie Elizabeth Bartlett Seymore. Charles graduated from Ooltewah High School, class of 1970. He worked at the Gunbarrel office of Verizon Wireless for several years. Charles loved music, enjoyed singing and playing the guitar. He was a member of Silverdale Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Jeffrey Wayne Seymore.
Survivors include his daughter, Kristy (Steve) Spence; son, David Seymore and fiancée, Marketta LaFoe; grandchildren, Ethan Seymore, Katelyn Seymore, Justin Burrell and Josh Burrell; several cousins and extended family members.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 PM Monday, September 30, 2024, at the funeral home followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 4 PM in the funeral home chapel with Associate Pastor Sean Hanzelik of Eastwood Church officiating. Interment will follow at Plowman Cemetery, Apison, TN.
