Charles was born in Chattanooga and was a graduate of Ooltewah High School. He was a member of Greenwood Baptist Church, retired from Combustion Engineering as a Boilermaker, and was a US Army Veteran serving two tours in the Vietnam War.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Dill; and parents, Chester and Amanell Dill.
Surviving are his son, Wesley Dill; granddaughter, Skyler; grandson, Haiden; sisters, Carol Barbrow, Patricia Rogers, Betty (Bobby) Allmon and Tammy Baggett; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 PM on Thursday, February 22nd at the funeral home. Funeral Services will follow at 7 PM on Thursday at the funeral home with Rev. Toby Brogdon officiating.
Graveside Services will be at 10 AM on Friday, February 23rd at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
