She was born in Chattanooga, TN and was the daughter of Charles William Cochran and Karen Sue Deardorff Cochran. Brittany attended Ooltewah High School and Hamilton Heights Christian Academy. She was a member of Maple Grove Baptist Church.
Brittany had a loving heart and a kind soul. She was a champion for those less fortunate always trying to lend a helping hand where she could. She was raised with manners to use “Yes Ma’am and No Ma’am” and be respectful. Her parents were often complimented on how sweet and respectful she was to others. Brittany had a very outgoing personality like her daddy and did not meet a stranger. She tried to compliment or say something nice to everyone along the way even if it was just a thank you or have a good day whether at the drive through for food, gas station, or anywhere she went.
Due to health issues, she had not worked the last few years but previously worked with Customer Service / Hospitality type jobs. One of her favorite jobs was working on the Delta Queen Riverboat as a Guest Service Rep. She loved that boat and being on the water. Brittany’s favorite place, her happy place, was the ocean or at least a beach. She loved all things mermaid and referenced herself as the queen of mermaids. One of her most memorable lifetime events was being able to swim with the dolphins during a trip to Florida.
Brittany was great with kids and more than anything she wanted to be a Mom. She loved and helped raise her stepchildren Riley and Marley as if they were her own. Brittany was not able to have children, so fur babies became “her kids”. She was always bringing home strays and was a great mom to her puppies. They knew they were loved and cared for by the best.
Brittany was preceded in death by her husband, Sean Michael Davis; her daughter, Paisley Grace (through one of several miscarriages); grandparents, Charles and Betty Cochran and Richard and Theresa Deardorff; uncle, Stan Cochran and aunt, Bonnie Deardorff.
Brittany is survived by her step-children, Riley and Marley Davis; parents, Charles and Karen Cochran; father-in-law, Tommy Layne; mother-in-law, Dana Layne; sister, Mistie Cochran Goins; aunts, Terri (Dan) Land and Sandra Haas; uncles, Rick (Michele) Deardorff and John (Linda) Cochran; niece, Kara Goins Parm; several cousins; godmother, Sharon Wiley; special friends, Shauntae, Yaya and Tiffany; fur babies Braxton, Sebastian and Kinsley.

Brittany’s nickname for about 20 years was “Sparkles”. She loved glitz, glitter and anything sparkly. In honor of Brittany, please wear something along this line to the service. This would make her happy as we celebrate her 36th birthday with a lot of “sparkle”.
Arrangements are by the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 7414 Old Lee Highway, Chattanooga, TN 37421.
