Robert "Bob" L. Reeves

Robert “Bob” L. Reeves, 86, passed away peacefully April 10, 2017 at his residence. He was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga.

In 1952, Bob married his sweetheart Norma June Riggs. Bob served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He later worked as a welder and iron worker as a member of the Iron Workers Local 704.

As a founding member of Bayside Baptist Church in Harrison, TN, Bob devoted many years of his life to ministry and mission work. His extensive mission travels led him on many adventures, taking him to Africa, South America, and across the United States.

Bob leaves behind his wife of 65 years, Norma June Riggs; two daughters, Teresa Reeves Hart and Alisa Reeves Isles; three granddaughters, Jennifer Hart Yim, Kristin Bower, and Katie Hart; and five great-grandsons.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 14, 2017, at the Chattanooga National Cemetery with Rev. Eric Stitts and Rev. Grady Cooper officiating.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m., Thursday, April 13, 2017, at the funeral home.
