He was born on August 7, 1969 in Washington DC and moved to Seneca, SC as a teen. Upon graduating from Seneca High School, he joined the United States Army. He served from 1989-1991 at Fort Jackson - Arbordeen MD and Fort Lewis, Washington. In 1995 Andrew was a student at Tri County Technical College where he attended until 1998. He pursued additional education at Greenville Technical College in 2009-2010.
He began his career as a Sr. Printing Technician and worked his way up through the ranks where he became a respected Printing Manager in his field. Andrew loved his career and became very successful as his skills and talents afforded him opportunities to live in multiple states. Andrew worked hard on his career but also enjoyed his leisure time. He often enjoyed the outdoors going fishing, hunting, shooting range, Nascar racing, grilling, cooking and gardening. He loved many sports, but especially football and basketball. His favorite teams were Washington Redskins, Georgia Bulldogs, and Duke Blue Devils.
Andrew was a man of God. He Dedicated his life to God at New Beginnings Church in Matthews NC.
He served as a Deacon in 2010 at Living Water Church in Anderson SC. He attended Venue Church in Chattanooga TN.
He was born to the late Hezekiah Diggs from Suffolk, Virginia and to the late Christine Diggs from Seneca, SC who he loved and respected so much. Father-in-law, Frederick Sullivan and aunt, Nancy Sloan preceded his death.
Andrew is survived by his wife of 31 years of marriage Felicia Diggs. They have 8 boys;
Curtis Sullivan, Dontarious (Crystal) Sullivan, Michael Sullivan, Chavoy'ea Sullivan, Justin Diggs,
Anthony Heaven, Quenjaris Sullivan and Andrew Diggs Jr., granddaughters Hallee Sullivan, Jaeona Diggs, Faith Diggs, and Baylee Wright Sullivan.
Left to Cherish many fond memories mother-in-law Caroline Sullivan, one brother, Christopher (Tammy) Diggs, sister-in-law Tonya Fant, Terra (Jocktan) Bolden, brother-in-law, Gregory Brown and Frederick (Iyeshia) Sullivan. A special niece Chequeelia (Corey) Wild and Tanara Mariah Diggs. A special nephew A'Mirycal (Nike) Diggs, Dexter Fant, and Devonta Gray
Left to also cherish many fond memories a very special auntie and mother figure, Andrew Net Sloan, Gwen (James) Williams, and Jean (Ronald) Roberson and a host of cousins, relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 3 pm on Sunday, June 25, 2023 at Living Water Church, 835 New Hope Rd. Anderson, SC 29626.
The family will receive friends following the service on Sunday at the home of Jocktan and Terra Bolden, 2602 Warren Drive, Anderson, SC 29621.
