CHATHAM, MA and NAPLES, FL - Robert William Fuller, age 90, of Chatham, Massachusetts, passed away on July 11th. Bob was born in Norwalk, Connecticut. . He served in the Army Air Corps as a fighter pilot in WWII. He graduated from the University of Connecticut and got his master’s degree from RPI, and subsequently worked in IT management, retiring from Pitney Bowes in 1986.
Bob was an avid golfer and Red Sox fan, and loved big band music, discussing stocks and politics.
Bob raised his family in Redding, CT. He retired to Chatham in 1986 and spent winters in Naples, Fla.
He is survived by his wife, Pat (McKone); daughters, Susan (Ed) of Connecticut, Nancy of North Carolina, and son Drew (Robin) of Minnesota; stepdaughters, Maura McKone (Joe) of Rhode Island, Elizabeth McKone of California, and Kate McKone Sweet (Mark) of Massachusetts; grandchildren Amanda, Devin, Haley, Drew, Sierra, Hannah, Lauren, Emily, Sophie, Maya and Marcos.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Katherine Weiner and Robert H. Fuller, his wife of 44 years Rita Anne Kupec, and daughter, Allison.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday July 22, 2014 at 11 a.m., in Union Cemetery, Chatham.
