Josephine (Rodolo) Russell of Chatham passed away peacefully at home with her family on November 10, 2011. She leaves behind her husband of 60 years, CMS William G. Russell USAF retired. She is also survived by four daughters, Kathleen Russell and Husband Ralph DePanfilis of Norwalk, CT, Patricia Russell and husband David Jack of Gillette, NJ, Gail Porrazzo and husband Tom of Mohnton, PA, Elaine Sparacino and husband Michael of Ridgefield, CT; and seven grandchildren, Russell and Mark DePanfilis, Thomas, Ralph James, Daisy and Yolanda Porrazzo, and Kevin Sparacino. She was born in Bronxville, NY, and lived in Mount Kisco, NY, for over 30 years until she moved to Chatham in 1993. She was a devoted wife; mother and grandmother who loved to spend time with her family. Jo also worked in administration for IBM Corporate Headquarters in Armonk, NY, before retiring. Previously, she worked as a bookkeeper at T.A. Byrne Chevrolet in Mount Kisco. She was an avid reader and a member of the Seaside Reader's Book Club of Chatham. A Memorial Mass in celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2011 at 10:00am, at Holy Redeemer Church, 57 Highland Ave, Chatham, MA. A private graveside service will be held at a later date. Her family is extremely grateful for the compassionate care she received at home by VNA/Hospice of Cape Cod.
