Raised in Chatham, Donna graduated from Chatham High in 1966 and later received a degree in teaching from Framingham State College in 1970. She is remembered fondly by her students from Rockland and Oliver Ames High Schools where she taught Home Economics for many years.
In 2002, Donna and Dave moved back to Chatham to help raise their Great Nephew, Matthew, who lived with them for over 10 years.
Donna’s hands were always busy. An accomplished seamstress, she did alterations for many of the clothing stores in town as well as for many individual customers. Her passion was crocheting baby blankets for family and friends and infant caps for the hospital. Donna was strong willed yet kind, gentle and compassionate. She put others before herself and was always willing to lend a helping hand. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
