Kevin L. Butler

He was born in Springfield, on March 4, 1964, the son of Bruce and Collette Wavering Butler.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Kevin graduated from Glenwood High School where he enjoyed playing football. Later after high school, he went on to have a construction business where he enjoyed building houses. For the last several years, he worked as a laborer for Laborer’s Local #477.

Kevin is survived by his daughters, Ashley L. (Lathe) Fishburn of Mechanicsburg and Brittany P. (Tyler) Heffington of Lubbock, TX; mother, Collette of Chatham; three grandchildren, Adalynn and Conrad Fishburn and Saylor Heffington; two siblings, Kyle (Janet) Butler of Chatham and Kelli Albers (Steven) of Belton, MO; one nephew, Ryan; three nieces, Nicole, Courtney, and Audrey; three great-nephews, Parker, Grant, and Frederick; and several cousins.

Cremation was provided by Butler Cremation Tribute Center.

Memorial Gathering: Family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday, May 10, 2024, at Butler Funeral Home - Chatham, 8855 State Rt. 4, Chatham.

Private family burial will be at a later date at Chatham Memorial Cemetery.
