Rebecca Reed

Rebecca Lynn Reed, 43, of Charlottesville, passed away on Thursday, April 8, 2021. Becky was born on February 2, 1978, in Mobile, Alabama, to William David Reed and Sandra Gail Wilson Reed. She graduated from Spring Hill College, in Mobile, Alabama, in 2000 with a bachelor's degree in Communications and Professional Writing. Becky enjoyed reading, and especially loved her cats. She was a kind and loving person. Becky suffered greatly from cancer, and is happy to go home. In addition to her parents, Becky is survived by her brothers, Adam and David Reed; sister Laura Reed; sister-in-law Wendy Reed; and several nieces and nephews. She was especially close to her college roommate, Liz Tetley, and her family was like a second family to Becky. A visitation will be held on Monday, April 12, 2021, from 2-4pm, at Teague Funeral Service. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 13, 2021, at 2pm, at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior. Following the service, a graveside service will be concluded at Holly Memorial Gardens.
