On February 12, 2015 our beloved mother, Lisa Woodfolk, departed this life at her home in Charlottesville, Virginia surrounded by her loving family. Born on June 6, 1967 Lisa was the daughter of Aaron Alexander, Sr. of Lancaster, South Carolina and the late Pearl Woodfolk Alexander. She received her education in the Charlottesville City Schools and was employed by the City of Charlottesville until her health failed. She leaves to cherish her memories two sons Cory and Rochard Hearns; her fiancé, Vincent Louderback; a loving and devoted sister and caretaker, Rita Taylor and her husband James; sister, Jessica Alexander; two brothers, Alfonzo Woodfolk and friend Pat of Buckingham and Aaron “Bubba” Alexander of Waynesboro; a granddaughter, Jaliyah Hearns; and special nephew and caretaker, Rayquian Anderson. Lisa is also survived by three aunts Augustine Ragland and her husband Warren, Mildred Woodfolk, and Lillian Washington of Oklahoma City, OK; and one uncle, Emanuel Woodfolk, Jr. and his wife Marilyn of Keswick. Lisa also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends. Lisa’s family would like to thank everyone for their love and support given during their time of sorrow. A special thanks to Hospice of the Piedmont, Emily Couric Clinical Cancer Center, Pastor James Lauderback, Jr., Reverend Doyle Thomas, Pastor Gabe Turner, Trey Roberts, William Wells, and the staff at Monticello High School. A funeral service will be conducted 12:00pm Thursday, February 19, 2015 at First African Baptist Church, 105 Lankford Avenue, Charlottesville, VA. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 11:00 to 12:00pm. at the church.
