Alice Lee Wood

Alice L Wood, 94 of Charlottesville. Our beloved mother and grandmother went to be with the Lord October 24, 2022. She was born in West Virginia to the late Alpha and Grace Martin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harlen “Blackie” Wood, her granddaughter Jessica Anne Berdick and nine brothers and sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Berdick of Palmyra, Virginia ; her son Jimmy Wood (Sandra) of Laguna Beach, California; and her grandson E. Lee Berdick (Jillian) of Richmond, Virginia. She was a long time employee of Sears and Siemens. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to the Dementia Society of America in Alice’s name. www.dementiasociety.org
