Mr. Hale, 56, of Charlotte, NC passed away on Saturday October 4, 2014 at CMC Main. A North Carolina native, He was born in Goldsboro on March 18, 1958 and was the son of the late Nelson Hale, Jr. and Louwanna Wiggins Hale.
Mike came to the Charlotte area with his family when he was around ten years old, and has always been proud to call it home. He had been a student at Myers Park High School; graduated from The Patterson School in Lenoir, NC; and had also attended Clemson University. Mr. Hale was a longtime business owner in the Charlotte area.
Mr. Hale is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Beverly Truelove Hale; son, Charles Hale; sister, Ruth Hale Hunter (Todd) and their daughter, Sarah Hunter of Fredericksburg, VA. Also surviving are numerous cousins and other family members.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm on Saturday, October 18, 2014 at Harry & Bryant, “Chapel in the Oaks”. The family will receive friends following the memorial service.
