Tommy Strong Martin, 70, passed away Monday, February 25, 2013 at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis. A native of Mecklenburg County, he was born on December 6, 1942 to the late Roy Neely Martin and Flossie Piercy Martin.
The family will receive friends Wednesday evening, February 27th from 6PM to 8PM at the funeral home.
Mr. Martin is survived by his wife, Jacqueline Small Martin; two sons, David Wayne Martin, Steven Shawn Martin and wife Debbie; a daughter, Susan Martin Hales and husband, Justin; two sisters, Francis Martin Parr, Faye Martin Tucker; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Martin was preceded in death by two brothers, Calvin Roy Martin and William “Bill” Sylvester Martin.
