I have known Tom for 20 years. He was one of the finest men I have ever known. He helped me start a Pop Warner Program in the Porter Ridge community in Union County, NC. He has inspired me throughout my life to work with kids. He benefited more kids that a person could count.

Among the best yrars of our lives were spent with Tom in the South Park Youth Association. Joe was coach and president. Charlotte and thousands of Charlotte's children owe much to Tom Little for his generous gifts of time and talent to our community. Connie are among them.

I have wonderful childhood memories of spending time with the Little family. From being packed up in our PJ's each summer and loaded into the station wagon for the drive to Outer Banks, to my first outdoor theater experience. Tom was always so kind and humorous - forever calling every boy I ever dated (or man I married) "Bob". So many of my happiest youthful memories involved each of you. May those wonderful memories of Tom replace the heartache you feel at his loss, and help you find peace. I love you all.

It is with much sadness that Terry and I learned of Tom's passing. We offer our sympathy to his family and to Tom's many friends including all the children that he gave so much of his time and interest in seeing that they had oportunities in playing sport.Job well done Tom!

To Mimi: I was truly blessed the day my daughter, Tracy, married your son Tom and introduced me to you and Tom, Sr. They in turn blessed us with two wonderful grandchildren, Rachel and Tommy, III. I know that you and Tom, Sr. would call every night to nurture and encourage the grandchildren. Tom, SR will be truly missed by them. They love him dearly. I can never fully express how much we love and appreciate you and Tom and all that the two of you have done.

I knew Pop mainly through the great love his family felt for him.  And I could see why. He was always so kind and generous towards my family.  I will never forget our fun trips to the beach and his efforts to introduce this Wyoming girl to a few Southernisms--"skeeter" being the first.  My family and I will miss him. Our love and thoughts are with you.

We have been close friends with Debbie and Dave for many years.  Whenever we were with Donna and Tom, they made us feel like family. We will miss Tom for the kind and considerate person he was. His family meant so much to him. Our prayers go out to each of you.

I worked with Tom often when I headed up our sports programs at Old Providence Rec Association. He was always on the side of the kids. He was a fine man and his good deeds are appreciated.
