Shane Patrick Deese-Hodges, age 13 passed away August 9, 2011 at Carolinas Medical Center.
A service to celebrate his life will be at 11:00AM Friday at Forest Lawn West Funeral Home Chapel, Dr. Gerald Bearden officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Shane was born in Charlotte September 29, 1997. He was a freshman at West Mecklenburg High School where he participated in football and golf and baseball
Surviving are his mother, Corlisa Hodges, stepfather, Ruben Ramirez, sister, Gabrielle Hodges and a brother, Tyler Hodges of the home, grandparents, Pat and Beverly Hodges of Charlotte, Mary Mendoza of Charlotte and a number of aunts uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Timothy Shane Deese.
