Mrs. Woods, 74, of Tega Cay, S.C. passed on Saturday, January 5, 2013 with family at her side. She was born December 4, 1938 in Hartford, Ct. to Ellsworth and Helene Newberry.
Sally was a member of the Tega Cay Rescue Squad and the Tega Cay Womens Club. A member of Beta Sigma Phi, she enjoyed skiing, music, swimming and crafts.
Sally is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Bill Woods; her son Don Woods and wife Lauran of Andover, Ct.; her daughter Michelle Burnham of Tega Cay, S.C. ; her son Ken Woods of Rock Hill, S.C.; her brother Dwight Newberry and wife Leatha of St. Elmo, IL. ; four grandsons, Nathan and Colin Burnham and Ryan and Tyler Woods.
The family will receive friends on Monday, January 7, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at McEwen Pineville Chapel, 10500 Park Road, Charlotte, N.C. 28210.
