She was born in Columbus, Ohio on February 8th, 1957 to Jean and Richard Sampson. She graduated from Upper Arlington High School and UNC Charlotte.
She began dating the love of her life, Ted, in 2012 after meeting him through a local hiking club. Excited to start their new life together, the quirky couple got married at the Whitewater Center in 2014.
Ruthann is survived by her husband, Theodore Richard Flor; her children, Grace, Bernie, Sarah, and Emi Rapp (and Emi’s wife, Mallory Wood); her brother, Kendree Sampson (and his wife, Margaret Cabrera); her nephews, James and Robert Sampson (and Rob’s wife, Claudia Carbajal Morelos) and their mother, Laurie Sampson (and her husband, George Bailey).
