Words have failed me, I am stunned, I  am lost. Please help me wake up from this long 
 Bad dream.  Why? Is this it? Just like that?Hmmm, this is too heavy to bear.

It's a very difficult ordeal to bury our own children.  Please take heart ♥.  We are with you in prayer. 

It came a New Year 2023 to say Goodbye to Ningmua our cutie  Grandson. 
It was the most difficult word to say that fateful day. 
We were joyful to say welcome to baby Ningmua. 
We celebrated with you. 
We are now sorrowful to say 

Goodbye to you grandson. 
You said nothing when you were coming into the world. 
You said nothing when you were leaving the world. 

Where will you announce your coming and leaving?
Now we celebrate without you. 
We cherish your voice and writings you left behind. 
We will continue to hear you and apply your teachings of Love in our hearts.

My dear Nings, 
Ever since I learnt of your demise I have refused vehemently to confront, let alone accept this reality. Yes I have seen your lifeless body lying in this strange place known as a funeral home 2x in these last few weeks, and yet this is yet to sink in. 
I struggle to piece together some words in your memory, and rightly so, because this was never in the script. You should be the one composing your verses in my honour, and I can only imagine what your opening phrase would be, but I will never know that now it seems. 
I took you for granted, believing we have so many years ahead to play catch up after all the years I spent away from you…boy was I wrong😭😭. 
You were one person who amazed me the most with your deep conviction of finding and maintaining even the most minimal of contact with family. Yes, we seldom spoke on the phone but would exchange pleasantries on our birthdays and the occasional chats on Facebook. 
Just last year, I accessed instagram for the first time ever and signed up to be kept updated of the activities of a renowned artist, and within a day of me joining, you found me a sent me my first ever message on insta. You remain to this day my only family member and one of only 3 people who knows I’m there and follows me.
My last chat with you was on my big birthday at the end of November. If only I knew it would be our last chat, I would’ve…
gosh😭😭😭😭I would’ve…I’m sorry Nings, this isn’t making sense at all. 
What will you say to your grandfather, my father, when he asks you about me, your uncle the enigma? You never said you missed him so much that you decided to go see him sooner than planned. 
Why does this hurt so bad? I’m trying to talk to you and need some answers …please help me understand 😭. 
I have only fond memories of you and how beautiful your smile was, and I pray you were smiling even at the point you didn’t realise you were drawing your final breath. Sleep well my son until we meet again.

My dearest son. Words failed me this time around. I thought I was dreaming but it's a dream come true. I cried when you passed away. I still cry today. Although I love you deary I couldn't make you stay. Your golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest. God broke my heart to prove to me he only takes the best,that you were to me. U believe in everyone, accepted every person the way he or she was. I have learnt a lot from you. Thank you for loving me and my sons unconditionally. Your one among us. To my big cousin Nings,

It is hard to come to terms with the fact that we won’t be able to speak and laugh with each other again. You came into our lives with bright eyes and a brilliant smile, and when I think back to us in school, I remember all the teachers asking for you and talking about you with so much reverence, such was your impact. I’m so grateful that we still have your words, and hope I can always take and apply them with the thoughtfulness and profundity they deserve. Until we meet again, big cousin, I love you so so much. 

My Dear Granny, Raymond, 

I kept praying and thanking God for taking you away  from the unrest back home in Cameroon, little did I know that a greater danger awaited you in a place we considered a safe haven. 

The 1st of January 2023.brought an unprecedented and untold pain and  shock to our entire family, this day has left a scar which will remain engraved in our minds forever.  It has never been the plan for us  as Parents to organise the funeral of a Son, talk less of a Grand Son. 

My beloved Grand Son, it pains to note that your dreams were accomplished but never executed, but in the midst of this pain, we give all Glory to God for the beautiful and memorable time we shared together here on earth.

We loved you but God loves you most. Be our Saint in God's Kingdom and continue to  intercede on our behalf till we meet again to part no more.

Nings, my boy, my son, my love. You know when you came into my life, you came as an unexpected and unplanned gift. At first when I learnt of your presence I was surprised, but when I saw your beautiful and angelic face, my heart melted. You had a smile that just simply lit upbyour face. You were such a happy, quiet and joyous soul as a child, who brought so much pleasures into our lives and that transcended into adulthood.

I am still waiting for your, "Happy New Year mum and I love you" message. I simply can't believe that I will never hear your voice, your laugh, or see your handsome smiling face again. Whenever we spoke the memories you shared of your stay with us was always happy and l just couldn't believe how vivid your memories were. I am so blessed that we were able to provide those for you.

I am eternally grateful that I had you in my life for as long as I did.  I am heartbroken that you were taken away so unexpectedly. As I write this with tears in my eyes and a very heavy heart, I dont know why this happened. They say God knows best and in him we must trust. 

Rest easy my beautiful angel, until we meet again.

You will be deeply missed.

You lit my life up and gave me so many fond memories that I will cherish forever. Whenever I called you I instantly felt better and you always knew exactly what to say. I will miss your voice and our video calls so much. Thank you for giving me so much happiness for the time you were here.

Your untimely death is heartbreaking and has taught me a lot. I’m sad you didn’t get to meet Aria, she would’ve loved you. I’ll make sure to tell her all about you and our many stories when she grows up. She will know how beautiful and pure her uncle was.

As I come to terms with your passing I pray that you are at peace. I hope you know how many people loved you to your core. I hope you know how important and appreciated you were.

You were a bright light in my life and I wish we had so many more years to grow together.

Ningmua when we pray to the God who created us we do not miss to mention that “let sons burry their fathers, not fathers their sons “. For you to go before me is disorderly albeit untidy. I have scattered my inner self soul searching. I still cannot accept because it just doesn’t make sense. You died because someone killed you, an evil man was used by a force that decided to separate you from us in the most unexpected of ways possible. I sit and blame myself that maybe I could prevent that from happening but if it is Gods plan that you should leave us then He didn’t want me to thwart that plan. You were a son and a little brother, a loving soul. You often wore a pensive mien and of very mild temperament. I will miss you my son and even until my very last days here on earth I will keep remembering you and that reunion that never was. I have been stripped bare, my door is ajar hoping some miracle will bring you back, I stare in the air and have been looking into the clouds hoping to see you. This world, this year, was not for you because it took you out just when you were trying to fit in, on Jan 1st.  This society that took the light of day that you saw in another one does not deserve to host your body - fare thee well Nings till we meet never to part again - chai

    It breaks my heart to accept the fact that you are no more. It still feels like a nightmare bro. My heart is still a doubting Thomas. Your poem about love speaks about the kind of love  you had. Man for family that’s who you were. Always making sure I was ok and everyone was. It’s hard to tell you goodbye bro😭😭😭😭😭😭. It’s hard to accept that I won’t see you or hear from you till we meet again bro. 

   I remember dream girls movie that we watched countless times in Bafut which was about family and the need to be one another’s keeper. You made me see family from a different dimension and I am grateful  for the lessons. 

   You were the most jovial person I had ever seen. Never had I seen you angry. You always made out time from your busy schedule to check if I was ok.

"My key Player", That was the title I gave you in our family. I am in deep pains and I can't even believe I am writing a tribute for you, handsome. I vividly remember when we dropped you off at the airport, we were looking forward to pick you up at the arrival terminal and not as a cargo. That wasn't the plan at all, Son😭😭😭

You were that one person i would always confide in when i was in distress. You would calm me down in that soft tone of yours and pampered me like a little child. We had very promising plans for this year, especially, plans to celebrate your dad's 50th anniversary. we planned a pleasant surprise for him, unfortunately, all we hoped and planned for have been thrown under the bus and trampled upon. You were that one person who would walk away from the least provocation and or altercation, talk less of a fight. What ever happened to you, I can't fantom. 

You had a heart of Gold, Son, and would go out of your way to satisfy everyone. I can only pray that you watch over us from above.  Your siblings look up you for guidance and protection. Your legacy lives on, Son.  Love is what you gave to the world and that is what we will preach and live for in order to keep your candle burning

Even in pain, I look up to the heavens and I am consoled by the fact that, where you are there is no pain, no evil nor gun shots but love. From Glory to Glory, God has taken you to where we will meet to part no more.

RIP is hard to say Nings, days have gone by and I can’t fathom the pain of your demise.
