Raymond Johnson

Mr. Raymond Johnson, 78, of Fort Mill, SC passed away Thursday, February 10, 2011. He was born June 12, 1932 in Brooklyn, New York, the son of George and Henny Johnson. Mr. Johnson was a devoted husband to his wife who passed on November 9, 2009.

Raymond was a wonderful father, grandfather and great grandfather. He grew up in Long Island, New York and after many years he relocated to Fort Mill, SC. He was a Seventh Day Adventist and trusted in the Lord to one day bring him home.

He is survived by his brother George Johnson; his sons Raymond Johnson Jr. and wife Norma, Paul Johnson and wife Alexandria; daughter Pennylynn Burgess and husband Glynn; grandchildren, Sherianne, Christy (Randy), Frank (Nicki), Andrew, Jamie, Tiffany (James), Breanna, Jacob, Samantha; and great grandchildren Raymond, Noah, Evert, Anthony, Gabriel, Autumn, Keira, Tristan and Hayden.

Funeral Services are going to be at 11:00 am on Monday, February, 14, 2011 at McEwen Funeral Service Pineville Chapel, 10500 Park Rd., Charlotte, NC. The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 13, 2011 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm and on Monday one hour prior to the service.
