“Then I heard a voice from heaven say, “Write this: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.” “Yes,” says the Spirit, “they will rest from their labor, for their deeds will follow them.” Revelation 14:13
“For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us.” Romans 8:18
“And the dust returns to the earth as it was, and the spirit returns to God who gave it.” Ecclesiastes 12:7
“13 Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. 14 For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. 15 According to the Lord’s word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. 16 For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. 18 Therefore encourage one another with these words.” I Thessalonians 4:13-18
Tribute to Omega
And now to my husband Omega, what can I say but this: You are no longer in your earth suit but your heavenly suit. One of your callings was to walk in the position of a husband to me. I believe this was because God made you resilient, you have been able to recover quickly from the many difficult circumstances you faced in your health, these 33-plus years of marriage, and our silent suffering. Mister, you had resilience like no one else. Nothing kept you down for long. It’s in your name, Omega, where God brings us to the end of a series of things repeatedly, he had set an ultimate limit to just what could be done to you and to us. I am not sure if you knew how powerful of a man you were, but, “great O” you kept standing tall, You endured until the end and kept focused on the Lord for indeed, he has made everything beautiful in its time. Thank you for all your support during my days and years of being “SENT OUT” and Bible College. Thank you for keeping your promise to me and the Lord.
Lastly, I thank you for your intensity, for being my covering, and my husband, the man who came full circle.
We loved till death did us part.
