A native of West Virginia, Oleva was a daughter of the late Hugh and Alma Boatwright. She was a homemaker and member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, Oleva was preceded in death by her husband, James Dale Nester; two sons, Stanley Dale Nester and James Michael Nester; a grandson, Rory Nathaniel Nester; and six brothers and sisters.
Oleva is survived by two sons, Larry Nester and his wife, Lynda, and Barry Nester and his wife, Sandra; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
A graveside service for Oleva will be held at 10:00 am Friday, June 7, 2024, at Sunset Memory Gardens, 8901 Lawyers Road, Mint Hill, North Carolina 28227.
