Mr. Witter-Merithew, age 61, of Concord, died Saturday, January 26, 2013 at Presbyterian Hospital - Main. Born December 12, 1951 in Corning, NY, he was a son of Robert Frances Merithew and Charlot Mae Tucker Merithew. Mr. Witter-Merithew served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was a self-employed contractor.
The family will receive friends 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM Friday, February 1st at McEwen Funeral Service - Derita Chapel. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Witter-Merithew is survived by his wife of 34 years, Anna Witter Merithew; three children, Gretchan Ohlig, Justin Witter-Merithew and Ryan Witter-Merithew; four siblings, Robert J. Merithew, Kris R. Merithew, Marie Merithew Stolp and Forrest Merithew; and seven grandchildren, Emma, Henry, William, Owen, Seth, Everett and Edison.
