Born February 20, 1933 in Grand Rapids, MI, she was a daughter of the late Charles Clarke Veneman and Mary Elba Nance Veneman. Mrs. McCoy was a real estate agent for 30 years for Helen Adams and Allen Tate. She was a member of Sardis Presbyterian Church and a member of the No Trumps Bridge Club for over 50 years. She also loved to travel with family and friends.
Mrs. McCoy is survived by four sons, Charles, Marshall, Tom and John McCoy; her daughter-in-law, Drew; four grandchildren, Wes, Jeanie, Alex and Will McCoy; and her sister, Judy Eaton; as well as many nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by her husband, L. Wayne McCoy, in 2005; and a daughter-in-law, Barbara.
A service to celebrate Mrs. McCoy’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 8th at Sardis Presbyterian Church. Her family will receive friends at the church following the service. Interment in the church cemetery will be private.
