Mary Troutman Honeycutt

Born November 22, 1933, Mary was a daughter of the late William Alexander Troutman and Dora Emma Love Troutman McDonald.

A graduate of Harrisburg High School, Mary was a member of Northside Baptist Church and retired from Charlotte Military Enlisting Processing Station in 2014 after 52 years of service.

Preceding her death were her husband, Paul Honeycutt and a grandson, Micah Honeycutt; siblings, Emma Amis, Bertie Honeycutt, J.P. Troutman, Carl Alexander Troutman, Junior Robinson Troutman, James Bedford Troutman and Marvin Edward Troutman.

Survivors include two sons, Brett Honeycutt and wife, Jennifer of Matthews, NC and Mark Honeycutt and wife, Lisa of Charlotte, NC; a sister Patricia Robinson of Matthews, NC along with a brother, Baxter McDonald and Glenda Carey of Kannapolis, NC; and four grandchildren, Katelyn, Christopher, Ashley and Elizabeth.

Services are planned for 12:00 pm Saturday, December 3, 2016 at McEwen Funeral Service-Derita Chapel. Friends may visit Saturday from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm at the funeral home, 6300 Mallard Creek Road, Charlotte, NC.

Burial will take place in Gethsemane Memorial Gardens.
