Martha Jane Wilson Minday

Jane graduated from Long Creek High School and attended secretarial school. She had a long career as an office manager and head of purchasing at Catawba Industrial Rubber Company and retired after 30 years.

She grew up going to Hopewell Presbyterian Church in Huntersville and then attended Avondale Presbyterian Church in Charlotte. Jane has been a member of Calvary Church in Charlotte since 1978.

Jane enjoyed spending time with her sweetheart, Bill Morrison. They enjoyed dancing, traveling, movies, and spending time with their Sun City friends. She was a loving sweet mother, grandmother and friend. Jane had a great sense of humor and always made everyone feel better. Everyone that met her loved her.

In addition to her parents, Jane was preceded in death by her loving husband, Michael Minday and her brother, William Patton "Pat" Wilson.

Jane is survived by her children: William Francis "Franz" Kermit Howard and wife, Cindy; John McConnell Howard; Allan Mark Minday and wife, Donna; Jane Melinda Minday French and husband, David; Julie Ann Minday Liske and husband, David; 12 grandchildren: Caitlin Howard, Adam Howard, Emily Mitchell and husband, John; Rachel Bailey and husband, Davis; Laura Kate Minday; Hannah Minday; Stephen French and wife, Ashley; Jonathan French; Timothy French; Kyle Liske and wife, Mary; Jacob Liske; Paige Fudge and husband, Jonathan; three great-grandchildren: Emma Jane and Luke French and Brentley Fudge; and her sister, Laura Beatrice "Polly" Henderson.

Jane will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She was loved by all.

Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday, August 26th, at Harry & Bryant, 500 Providence Road, Charlotte. The service to honor Jane Minday's life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 27th, in the Chapel of Calvary Church, 5801 Pineville-Matthews Road, Charlotte.
