Margaret Isenhour Black, age 83 of Charlotte passed away December 6, 2011. A service to celebrate her life will be at 2:00PM Thursday, December 8th in the chapel of Forest Lawn West Funeral Home, Reverend John Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn West Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the Funeral Home
Mrs. Black was born in Charlotte March 20, 1928 daughter of the late Andrew Jackson and Sunnie Auten Isehour. She was a member of Chapman Memorial Baptist Church, was a graduate of Paw Creek High School, was formerly associated with Leaksville Woolen Mill, Anderson Press, Krispy Kreme Doughnut, and Merita Bakery. Mrs. Black loved to bake.
Surviving are sons, David Black (Karen) of Charlotte and Darryl Black of Iron Station, NC, grand daughter, Sally Atkins (Clete), great grandchild, Daisy Mae Atkins, step grandsons, Andy Case (Jamie) all of Iron Station, NC and Stephen Martin of Charlotte, step great grandchildren, Kaylee and Levi Case of Iron Station, NC and a sister, Mary Deese of Concord, NC. She was preceded in death by her husband, Conley E. Black.
