Charlotte - Louise Rose, 77, passed away on November 10, 2022. She was born on October 4, 1945 in Fitchburg, MA, daughter of the late Sidney and Gertrude Schwartz. Louise has been a resident of Charlotte, NC since 2010. Prior to that, she lived in Lawrenceville, NJ and Reading, MA.
A graduate of Lasell College and Boston University, Louise met her husband, Stanley Rose while he was attending MIT. They were married June 25, 1967 and recently celebrated their 55th anniversary.
Louise is survived by Stanley; daughter, Dr. Stephanie Berg and son-in-law, Geoffrey Berg of Columbia, SC; and son, Dr. Jeffrey Rose of Muscat, Oman. Her greatest joys in life were her two grandchildren, Max and Henry Berg.
A service will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, November 14, 2022 in the chapel at Hebrew Cemetery, 1801 Statesville Ave., Charlotte with Rabbi Asher Knight officiating.
