Louise Bigham Estridge

Mrs. Estridge, 84, of Charlotte, NC, died August 7, 2012 at the Hospice House in Monroe.

She was born March 9, 1928 in Charlotte, NC, one of nine children to the late Henry Porter Bigham, Sr. and Margie Hunter Bigham. Mrs. Estridge was a 1946 graduate of Central High School and a member of Newell Presbyterian Church. Some of her favorite activities included oil painting, gardening and flower arranging.

The Estridge family will greet friends Saturday, August 11th, 2012 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at McEwen Funeral Service at Sharon. A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Estridge will follow at 2:00 PM in the Chapel with The Reverend Brad Busiek, Senior Minister of Newell Presbyterian, officiating. Burial will follow in Sharon Memorial Park.

Mrs. Estridge is survived by her son, Jeff Estridge; her two grandchildren: Kristen Nicole Estridge and Marcus Hunter Estridge all of Charlotte, NC; a sister, Susie B. Porter of Seffner, FL and brothers, Lee Bigham, Sr and Marvin Bigham of Baltimore, MD. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Marcus J. Estridge and a daughter, Anita Diane Estridge.

Memorials may be made in remembrance of Mrs. Estridge to Newell Presbyterian Church, 1500 Rocky River Road West Charlotte, NC 28213.
