Linda Rushing Campbell

Linda Willene Rushing was born on September 12, 1939 in Contra Costa, California. Her family moved to the Indian Trail area when she was young and she graduated from Fairview High School in 1958. After high school, Linda attended Wingate University and worked in the banking industry for many years. After an extensive career with BB&T Bank, Linda retired in 1999. Linda was a member of Good Shepherd Church since 2000, where she and Brian participated in the senior adult ministry.

Linda was a loving wife, mother, sister, step-mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her former husband David Campbell, brother Austin Rushing, daughter Marianne Geiger, step-son Edward Campbell and step-daughter Becky Millspaugh.

Linda is survived by her loving husband of 13 years Brian Spille, her brother Greg Rushing (Becky), sister Teresa Braswell (Roger), her daughter Lisa McCoy (Roy), step-son Kevin Campbell, 12 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and lots of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Her memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 8th at Good Shepherd Church, 13110 Moss Road, Charlotte, NC 28273. Please note that face coverings are required in the building.

The family requests that memorial donations be made in lieu of flowers to Hospice & Palliative Care Charlotte Region at 7845 Little Avenue, Charlotte, NC 28226.
